Our Caring Iowa City Dentist

Dr. Voshell is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He is a native Iowan who grew up in Central Iowa. Dr. Voshell and his family fell in love with Iowa City making the decision on where to practice easy.

While attending the University of Iowa College of Dentistry Dr. Voshell was active in many organizations such as the Iowa student chapter of the American Dental Association as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. He was awarded numerous scholarships and awards from the College of Dentistry departments of Operative and Prosthodontics, the Iowa Dental Foundation and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Voshell is devoted to providing superior dental care to patients of all ages and stages. He believes oral health is a partnership between the patient and the dental team and practices with a strong emphasis on patient empowerment and improving quality of life together.

Dr. Voshell explains, “Teeth are not a luxury organ, healthy teeth and gums not only help a person's confidence and enjoyment but can help prevent disease that robs them of quality of life.

When not at the clinic Dr. Voshell enjoys spending time with his wife Laura and two boys Isaac and Theo. Dr. Voshell is active in the local cycling community and can frequently be found on our local gravel roads and mountain bike trails.
